This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to all services provided by VoiceClone (voiceclone.pro), including voice cloning, text-to-speech, and related features. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, and describes the rights you have over your data.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please discontinue use of our services. We may update this Policy periodically in response to legal requirements or service changes. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice in advance.

Account and Identity Information: When you register, we collect the name, email address, and password (stored as an irreversible bcrypt hash) you provide. If you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the basic profile information you authorize through OAuth (name, avatar, email), but we do not access your social account password or contact list.

Voice and Audio Data: Audio files you upload for voice cloning, and audio files generated through text-to-speech. We use these files solely to provide the service to you and will not use them for any other purpose, including training our own AI models.

Usage and Device Data: We log your interactions with the service, including operation logs, quota usage, request timestamps, browser type, and IP address.

Payment Data: Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through Stripe. We retain only summary records such as transaction ID, amount, plan type, and payment status. We do not store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe under their security standards.

Service Delivery and Account Management: We use your account information to verify identity and maintain login sessions; audio data to perform voice cloning and text-to-speech operations; and quota records to track and manage your service usage. Your email address is used exclusively for necessary service communications such as account verification, password resets, and subscription confirmations.

Security and Abuse Prevention: We use device fingerprints, IP addresses, and usage pattern data to identify and block abnormal behavior, including automated script attacks and bulk account registrations aimed at bypassing quota limits. These measures are designed to ensure fair service quality for all users.

Product Improvement: We analyze usage data in aggregated, de-identified form to understand feature adoption, optimize user experience, and guide product development decisions. We do not use personally identifiable data for analytics purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or use your personal information for commercial marketing, and we do not share your personally identifiable information with third parties without your explicit consent, except in the limited circumstances described below.

Service Providers: We share the minimum information necessary with the following trusted third-party partners, each contractually obligated to use such information only to provide services on our behalf: Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (transactional email delivery).

Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information to the minimum extent necessary in response to legal obligations, valid court orders, or lawful requests from government authorities. Where permitted by law, we will notify you of such requests in advance.

Business Transfers: If VoiceClone undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before the transfer is completed and ensure that the receiving party agrees to honor the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We implement technical and organizational measures consistent with industry standards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or accidental disclosure. Our security framework spans transport-layer encryption, storage access controls, and internal permission management.

Specific technical safeguards include: all data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS; user passwords are salted and hashed with bcrypt and are irreversible; and our database operates in a network-isolated environment protected by key management and IP whitelisting.

While we take reasonable precautions, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you discover any security vulnerability, sign of data breach, or suspicious activity, please contact us immediately at support@voiceclone.pro. We will initiate our incident response procedure within 24 hours.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, after which data is securely deleted or anonymized. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable legal requirements.

Account information (name, email, settings) is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 calendar days, except where retention is legally required.

Audio files are retained until you actively delete them or close your account.

Payment and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by financial regulations. Device fingerprints and security audit logs are retained for 12 months for abuse prevention purposes, then automatically purged.

Under applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR and related regional regulations), you have a range of rights over your personal data. We will provide an initial response within 5 business days and complete the request within 30 business days.

Right of Rectification and Erasure: If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction; you may also update most information directly in your account settings. You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data (the "right to be forgotten"). We will process this request as promptly as the law allows; data subject to mandatory legal retention requirements is not subject to immediate deletion.

Right to Object and Restrict Processing: In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for specific purposes, or to request that we temporarily restrict processing of your data pending resolution of a dispute. If you believe our handling of your data violates applicable law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
